Hello OAP & HGE School Families,
I hope that you all had a wonderful spring break, even though the weather was a little on the chilly side!
Looking Back
The last week before the break was a whirlwind of excitement for both staff and students! March Madness brought energy to our hallways as we started each day with a school-wide march and ended with a fun, themed snack. A major highlight was the hockey game at the Multiplex – thank you to the Jets players for joining us and making it such a memorable event!
We also had the pleasure of experiencing a live performance of Rapunzel, brought to us by the Alberta Musical Theatre Company. A big thank you to the School Council for bringing this event to our schools!
Additionally, we hope you enjoyed connecting with your child’s teacher during Parent-Teacher Interviews. We tried a new format this year and would love to hear your feedback – please feel free to call or stop by the office to share your thoughts.
Looking Ahead
- Education Week (April 7th - 11th): We are excited to showcase some of the quality learning happening in our schools!
- New for Next Year: We are introducing Junior Kindergarten programming and KinderCare in partnership with Rural Roots Child Care. Be sure to check out our registration information!
- Early Years Parent Evening: We will host an interactive parent information event for you and your child to attend. We are planning for an evening during the third week in April. Watch for the date and further information on our website.
